Where to find Grok Bot templates
A Grok Bot template is a Grok Bot its creator shared as a link, so anyone can add a copy. There are plenty of good ones and a few ways to find the right one. Here they are, fastest first.
The fastest way
Ask Meet My Bot inside Grok Bot
The quickest place to find a Grok Bot template is inside Grok Bot itself. Meet My Bot is a template whose one job is finding other templates. You add it once, then ask for what you need in your own words, and it searches the meetmybot.ai directory for you.
Tell it what you need and it finds the right Grok Bot for the job from the meetmybot.ai directory, with the creator's link and credit.
Find me a Grok Bot that plans my weekly mealsEvery answer it gives names the bot, credits the creator and links the bot’s meetmybot page, so you can read what it does and what it needs before you add it. It only returns live listings, the ones that passed review.
Ask the way you’d ask a friend. A few that work well:
For the first ask, the top meal-planning matches on the directory right now are:
- Bot My Meals @timdoes
Plans the week's dinners to your budget and household size, lets family swap meals, then writes recipes and per-store shopping lists.
- Deal Detective @ashleyschendel
A bargain hunter for groceries and retail: finds real discounts, compares unit prices and builds money-saving shopping lists around what's on sale.
Why start here rather than a web search? You don’t need to know what a bot is called or which category it sits in. Describe the job, and the results come back ranked, with the creator’s link and credit. As new templates are listed, Meet My Bot sees them too, so the same ask can turn up something new next week.
Already have a Grok Bot you like and don’t want a second one? Give it the meetmybot connector instead, and it can search the directory the same way.
Second
Browse templates by job
If you’d rather look around, start from the job. These pages gather the bots for one kind of work and rank them by use:
Every category also has its own page. Pick the one closest to your job:
On a category page you can sort by Popular, New & rising, Newest or Recently updated. Popular is the default: ranked by people who use it, then by how its original X post did. No paid spots.
Third
Search the directory
The Browse page has a search box that takes plain words, like “plan dinners on a budget” or “is this email a scam”. You don’t need the exact name of a bot. Next to the search you can narrow by category, by the connectors you already use (“Works with”), or to bots that are new this week or were updated recently.
Search works best when you know roughly what you want. When you don’t, asking Meet My Bot is usually faster, because it can ask you a follow-up and match the job rather than the words.
Fourth
Spot them on X
Creators share Grok Bot templates on X as links that start with x.ai/bot. When you see one in a post, you can open it and add it straight away. Many of those posts end up listed on meetmybot, where each listing links the creator’s original X post, so you can see the bot in the wild and compare it with similar ones before you add it.
Before you add
How to tell a good template from a weak one
- One clear job. The best templates say what they do in one line. If you can’t tell what a bot is for from its summary, skip it.
- What it needs. Each listing has a “What you need” section. Some bots need no connectors at all, others need your email, calendar or a store. Make sure you’re happy to connect those.
- It asks before it acts. For anything that sends, buys, cancels or changes something, look for a summary that says it checks with you first.
- A real creator. Every listing credits the person who made it and links the original X post. The creator’s page on meetmybot shows every bot from the same creator.
- Signs of life. A “Recently updated” mark means the creator shared a newer version. The Popular order shows what other people keep using.
Browsing and adding templates costs nothing on meetmybot, and no listing pays for its place.
